Sixth Form Admissions

We are delighted that you are considering Halliford Sixth Form. For external students, entry into Sixth Form is based on a satisfactory report from the previous school, an interview, a short personal statement detailing your strengths and aspirations, and a minimum of 5 GCSEs at Grade 5 or above including English and Mathematics. It is a requirement that students achieve at least a Grade 6 at GCSE in the subjects that they wish to study at A Level. Where a student has not studied the subject at GCSE, for example in Psychology, a grade 6 at GCSE in an equivalent subject must be achieved. The School offers students the opportunity to demonstrate how they can contribute to School life through their abilities in Art & Design, Drama, Music, STEM and Sport, and candidates can apply to be considered for a scholarship in these subjects.  A limited number of academic scholarships are awarded each year based on GCSE results. For more information, please visit the Sixth Form Scholarship section.

To register for a place in the Halliford Sixth Form, please complete the Registration Form below together with a non-refundable registration fee of £150 inclusive of VAT which is paid by bank transfer (for overseas candidates a non-refundable registration fee of £200 inclusive of VAT is required). Please be advised that the application cannot proceed until both the Registration Form and payment are received. The bank details to arrange a bank transfer are on the last page of the Registration Form.
