As students returned to school after the October half term, our Head of Art, Ms Hetherington launched the Art Department’s Inter-House Christmas Card Design Competition with the theme ‘Symbols of Christmas’. Students submitted their designs to Ms Hetherington and then Mr Davies chose the winning design from an array of superb entries. The winner of the Inter-House Christmas Card Design Competition was George in 7G for his super symbols of Christmas card incorporating the Halliford crest. The Headmaster awarded Dexter in 8R and Alex in 7W with runners-up prizes for their entries.
As first prize, George has the honour of his design being used for the Halliford Christmas Card this year, which will be sold by our Young Enterprise team, Echelon.
The Inter-House Christmas Card Design Competition was a great success, bringing the school community together in the spirit of Christmas and celebrating the Hallifordian value of creativity. Congratulations to George, Dexter, and Alex for their fantastic designs and for contributing to the success of the competition. Another great win for Greville House.
